UP!
Up is certainly the direction of a few things that occur during the course of this next track, Oneohtrix Point Never's "Up". Daniel Lopation aka Oneohtrix Point Never could be called one of electronic music's most prolific members, producing ten or more album during the corse of his short-lived five year career alone, and with friends such as Joel Ford and Tim Hecker. His most recent solo album, titled Replica, broke barriers in plunderphonic and electronic music and was overall a revolutionary piece of art overall.
The moment occurs in the album's final moments during the song "Up". After three or so minutes of a continuous booming loop, repeating "up", the songs switches lanes and throws you into a trance and doesn't let go, with maximalistic sounds swirling around your heads. It really throws you into a moment that you don't want to get out of. Listening to the song, it reminds me of falling into a hole, always seeing the light from the surface, but never really hitting the bottom. I wouldn't mind if this song was much longer.
